2.3 million Disaster survivors exposed to fraud

The US Federal Emergency Management Agency ”FEMA might have exposed 2.3 million disaster survivors to fraud. FEMA had shared information of the survivors of hurricanes Irma, Maria and Harvey with the contractor. The error is not due to data breach but because of over sharing of information says officials. The information includes home addresses, bank account information, names of children and birth dates.
