The Haryana government has introduced a monthly pension program – Parivar Pehchan Patra (PPP) scheme of ₹2,750 for low-income unmarried individuals aged 45 to 60.
Additionally, widowed individuals between the ages of 40 and 60, with an annual income below ₹3 lakh, will also receive the same monthly pension amount.

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has planned to hand over its Small Satellite Launch Vehicle (SSLV) to the private sector following two successful development flights.
The SSLV aims to offer on-demand services for launching satellites weighing up to 500 kg into low-earth orbit. ISRO has opted to transfer the mini-rocket to the industry through a bidding process.

Majorana zero modes are a theoretical concept that mathematically represents electrons as composed of two distinct parts.
Microsoft researchers have announced a breakthrough in creating Majorana zero modes, which will help in advancing quantum computing by enhancing stability and resilience in quantum systems.

The National Housing Bank (NHB) said it has operationalized the Rs 10,000-crore Urban Infrastructure Development Fund (UIDF) announced in this year’s Budget for creation of urban infrastructure in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.
The initial corpus for this fund  managed by NHB is Rs 10,000 crore. UIDF has been launched to supplement efforts of the State governments by providing stable and predictable source of finance for creation of urban infrastructure in tier-2 and tier-3 cities.

The European Union has reached an agreement with the United States that will enable companies to continue storing data of European individuals on American servers, avoiding potential disruptions in trans-Atlantic data flows.
The deal ensures the continuity of data transfers utilized by numerous businesses for activities such as online advertising and website traffic analysis.

The Athletics Federation of India has been adjudged as the best member federation in Asia by the Asian Athletics Association.
Olympian Adille Sumariwalla, the AFI president, received the award at the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Asian Athletics Association in Bangkok. It is the national governing body for Athletics sport in India, and is responsible for conducting competitions in the country. It was formed in 1943.

ATR Module of AuditOnline was launched virtually by Union Minister of State for Panchayati Raj Kapil Moreshwar Patil.
The objective of this module is to offer a well-organized method for conducting audits, guaranteeing transparency regarding the steps taken to address audit findings.

The “Nomadic Elephant ” is a joint military exercise between India and Mongolia. The exercise for 2023 is scheduled to be conducted at Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia from 17 to 31 July 2023. Indian Army is represented by a  contingent consisting of 43 personnel.
This exercise is alternatively conducted between Indian and Mongolia. The last edition was conducted in 2019 at Special Forces Training School, Bakloh.

Odisha announced that it will build 2,000 meeting halls as part of the Mukhyamantri Sabha Gruha Scheme in western Odisha.
The state is preparing to face both Assembly and general elections in a year. Chief Minister of Odisha Naveen Patnaik also inaugurated and laid the foundation stones for several projects ₹33.58 crore.

Gambusia Fish which is commonly referred to as mosquito fish are widely recognized for their ability to control mosquito larvae and are used as a natural means of mosquito control.
The government of Andhra Pradesh has recently introduced around 10 million Gambusia fish into the state’s water reservoirs as a measure to prevent mosquito borne diseases in the state.
