Notes:
The maternal mortality rate has declined in India, as per sample registration system report. As per the report, MMR has been declined up to 26.9 per cent. While Assam had registered the highest maternal mortality rate, 229 and Kerala with 42 had registered the lowest maternal mortality rate.In southern states, MMR has come down from 77 to 72 per one lakh births, while in other states the figure has come down from 93 to 90. The report indicates that India has prevented about 2000 MMR per year.

India-ASEAN Business Summit was held in New Delhi on November 11-12, 2019. The theme of the summit was ‘Today, Tomorrow and Together’. India ASEAN Business Summit aims to opportunities for deepening trade and investment ties between India and ASEAN, identify & fructify sector‐specific opportunities, resolution of trade barriers, B2B alignments, policy breakthroughs & signing of MoU& agreements etc.

His fitness regimen includes five-and-a-half hours at the gym every day, sculpting those bulging biceps, triceps and six packs. It is divided into five sessions and he works out under his coach.

A three day “International Seminar on Climate Smart Farming systems” is being held in New Delhi. It was inaugurated on December 11, 2019. The seminar is being organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare.The seminar is attended by all the seven BIMSTEC countries. It includes Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, India, Thailand and Myanmar. The seminar focuses on adopting technological interventions in small holding farming. It will also give attention to targets set by BIMSTEC countries in reducing emissions at those levels to mitigate agricultural situations.The objective of the seminar is to enable improvement of tropical small holder farming system that are resilient to climate change and will provide greater productivity.
