Notes: Lakhuji Jadhav Rao, a Maratha Mansabdar and Jagirdar of Sindkhed Raja, was Shivaji’s maternal grandfather. He served both Ahmadnagar Sultanate and Mughals, contributed to guerrilla warfare tactics, and was assassinated in 1629 at Devgiri Fort. His Samadhi is located at Sindkhed Raja in Maharashtra.
