Keya Kumar Badugu Wins Southern India Golf Championship

Delhi’s Keya Kumar Badugu won the Ladies title at the IGU Bio-Gen Rotary Southern India Golf Championship for Ladies and Junior Girls on 9 October 2026. The championship was played at the Karnataka Golf Association course in Bengaluru. Kumar Badugu defeated Kolkata’s Anaahat Bindra in a playoff after both golfers completed the 54-hole tournament at one-under-par 215.

Kumar Badugu returned rounds of 73, 71 and 71 for a 215 total. Bindra recorded rounds of 70, 72 and 73, also finishing at 215. The playoff separated the two players after they were tied at the end of the scheduled 54 holes. Priya Kumari placed third with an aggregate score of 220. Her three rounds were 75, 70 and 75. Bindra had led the competition after the first two rounds, before Kumar Badugu moved level with her in the final round.
