Results of Assembly Elections 2012: BJP wins Gujarat
Narendra Modi led BJP registered a resounding victory in Gujarat. BJP won 115 seats in the 182-seat assembly which marks the third victory under Modi’s leadership, but two short of the 2007 tally of 117. Congress won only 61 seats in the state.
