Kapil Dev appointed as first chancellor of Rai Sports University in Sonepat

The Haryana Government has recently appointedcricket legend Kapil Dev as the first Chancellor of Rai Sports University in Sonepat district. TheUniversity will have powers to conduct academic and training programmes in physical education and sports sciences.  The Sports University of Haryana will be the third Sports University in the countryafter Swarnim Gujarat Sports University (Gandhinagar) and Tamil Nadu PhysicalEducation and Sports University (Chennai).
