What are Anvil Clouds in Geography?
Anvil Cloud refers to the flattening of the tops of large convective clouds as they reach the base of the Stratosphere, spreading in the direction of high-level winds. Ice and snow crystals falling below produces· the wedge-shaped Anvil clouds.
