The Skill India Assistant (SIA) is an AI-powered chatbot designed to enhance access to skilling and employment services across India. Developed by META and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), SIA uses advanced conversational AI to provide personalised support through WhatsApp. This initiative aims to promote digital inclusion and improve service delivery in the skilling ecosystem, especially for rural and underserved populations.

Skill India Assistant is built on Meta’s open-source Large Language Model (LLaMA).
