An official announcement from Tel Aviv informed that the move is in sync with Israel’s attempts to support a global war on terror. Israel was not being requested by the government of India to do so.

The National Gopal Ratna Awards were presented recently, as part of the National Milk Day celebration in 2023 by Ministry of Fisheries, Animal Husbandry & Dairying.
The primary aim is to acknowledge and motivate individuals such as farmers engaged in the rearing of indigenous animals, artificial insemination technicians, and cooperative societies, milk producer companies, and dairy farmer producer organizations contributing to this sector.

The Karnataka government’s Shakti scheme has provided free bus travel to 100 crore women since its launch in June 2023.
The scheme allows women to travel for free in 18,609 state-run buses, including 6,308 city buses, 5,958 ordinary buses, and 6,343 express buses. The value of the free tickets issued to women by state-run transport corporations is Rs 2,397.8 crore.

Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated the AIFF-FIFA Talent Academy in Bhubaneswar in the presence of Arsene Wenger, chief of global football development at FIFA.
A total of 50 talented football players, including 15 from Odisha, in the Under-14 category will be selected for the academy from across the country. The academy will be headed by a FIFA-appointed coach along with various coaches and staff from AIFF and the Odisha government.

Genesys International, a leading 3D mapping company, announced a strategic tie-up with Survey of India (SOI), the country’s national surveying and mapping authority.
This collaboration is set to revolutionise India’s map content through the implementation of the ‘3D Digital Twin Mapping Program.’ Aligned with India’s National Geospatial Policy 2022, the partnership aims to create digital twins of major cities and towns.

Falling recovery rates from 43% to 32% between March 2019 and September 2023, and an increase in the average resolution time from 324 to 653 days versus the stipulated 330 days have emerged as impediments to the success of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), according to a report by CRISIL Rating.
The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) was launched in 2016.

National Metallurgist Award (NMA) 2022 was awarded by the Union Ministry of Steel.
Five distinguished metallurgists were being conferred with the coveted NMA 2022 in five categories. Dr Kamachi Mudali Uthandi was awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award, while Dr Debashish Bhattacharjee was awarded the National Metallurgist Award.

Kambala is a traditional folk sport predominantly observed in the coastal districts of Karnataka, particularly in areas where Tulu speakers constitute the majority.
Kambala races were hosted recently by Bengaluru and lakhs of people visited the venue to watch the event. Kambala has in the past been banned by the Supreme Court, but the Karnataka government amended legislation to allow the races to go on.

Malaysia will scrap entry visa requirements for citizens of China and India visiting the nation beginning December 1, according to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Chinese and Indian nationals may stay for up to 30 days visa-free.
This would be subject to security screening, he added. Malaysia is counting on extra tourist arrival and their spending to support economic growth. China on Friday said it would allow citizens of six countries including Malaysia to enter the country without a visa.

India’s Union Minister for Women and Child Development and Minority Affairs Smriti Zubin Irani launched the Guide on Gender-Inclusive Communication.
It is a collaborative effort by the Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD), the National Gender and Child Centre (NGCC), Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration (LBSNAA) in Mussoorie, along with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation (BMGF) and UN Women.
