Europe’s recently developed Ariane 6 rocket has successfully passed a significant full-scale trial, marking a milestone in its testing phase. Arianespace, working on behalf of the European Space Agency, is responsible for the development of the Ariane 6 rocket.

India’s Union Health Ministry said the production of four generic cost-effective medicines has begun in the country to bring down the high cost and provide relief to patients with rare diseases.
These drugs are now available in the market for the treatment of four rare diseases: Tyrosinemia Type 1, Gaucher’s Disease, Wilson’s Disease and Dravet-Lennox Gastaut Syndrome.

Falling recovery rates from 43% to 32% between March 2019 and September 2023, and an increase in the average resolution time from 324 to 653 days versus the stipulated 330 days have emerged as impediments to the success of the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC), according to a report by CRISIL Rating.
The Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code (IBC) was launched in 2016.

To transform Karbi Anglong into a tourist destination, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma announced the construction of a Lokhiman temple in Dolamara, Karbi Anglong, with a budget of Rs 5 crore.

Madhya Pradesh High Court has said that ‘the right to speedy justice is a Fundamental Right’ while rejecting a plea against the executive order of the Chief Justice asking district courts to dispose of 25 of their oldest cases every quarter.
If a court fails to dispose of 25 of its oldest cases in a quarter, the remainder will be added to their target in the next quarter, as per the order.  There was a prolonged strike by lawyers across Madhya Pradesh against the order.

Angkor Wat, located in Cambodia, is now considered the eighth Wonder of the World, beating Italy’s Pompeii.
The title of the eighth Wonder of the World is given to outstanding buildings or projects, and Angkor Wat has gained this recognition. Built by King Suryavarman II in the 12th century, it has intricate carvings on its walls tell stories from Hindu and Buddhist myths.

The Cairns Group is an interest group of 19 agricultural exporting countries, including Argentina, Australia, Brazil and Canada.
The mini-ministerial meeting of the World Trade Organization (WTO) follows India’s criticism of the Cairns Group for proposing to halve the overall agriculture domestic support entitlements by the end of 2034 and ambushing public stockholding talks. The meeting aims to provide clear political guidance to overcome the stumbling blocks in the agriculture negotiations.

Malaysia will scrap entry visa requirements for citizens of China and India visiting the nation beginning December 1, according to Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim. Chinese and Indian nationals may stay for up to 30 days visa-free.
This would be subject to security screening, he added. Malaysia is counting on extra tourist arrival and their spending to support economic growth. China on Friday said it would allow citizens of six countries including Malaysia to enter the country without a visa.
