CyberDome Project is Kerala Police’s high-tech cyber security and research centre, set up on a public-private partnership model. It brings police, IT firms, academic experts and security researchers onto one platform to strengthen digital policing.

• Functions: 24/7 threat monitoring, cyber incident response, digital forensics, malware analysis, and specialised training for police personnel.
• Support tools: It also works on drone forensics, counter-drone testing, hackathons and child online safety initiatives.

Use in controlling internet crimes: It helps detect phishing, hacking, online fraud, identity theft and cyber stalking early through real-time analysis. It improves evidence collection and case building, speeds up investigation, and supports coordinated action against crimes that cross district and state borders.
