Gati Shakti seeks integrated multimodal connectivity by synchronising roads, railways, ports, airports, pipelines and digital networks. As infrastructure is created by both state and private actors, meticulous coordination is essential.

• Why it matters: private developers need reliable spatial data to avoid faulty alignments, land delays and weak DPRs; shared planning also helps locate logistics parks, warehouses and cold chains near corridors, cutting logistics costs.
• How to achieve it: the government must provide clean GIS data, single-window approvals and inter-ministerial coordination through the Network Planning Group, while private firms should invest in last-mile links, technology, warehousing and efficient project execution.

Thus, Gati Shakti can deliver true connectivity only when public planning and private efficiency operate together with trust, transparency and seamless institutional coordination.
