The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) will launch weather satellite “INSAT-3DR with its Geosynchronous Satellite Launch Vehicle (GSLV) Mark II in August 2016 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Sriharikota, Andhra Pradesh. The satellite is the replacement for Insat-3D launched in 2013 on atop of Ariane 5 ECA.
