India Justice Report

The Second edition of the India Justice Report was released recently. It assesses Indian states’ capacity to deliver justice by comparing several parameters across four pillars of justice delivery system, which includes judiciary, police, prisons and legal aid. Maharashtra retained the top position and UP ranks last among the large and mid-sized states. Tripura topped the small states. The report does not include 4 states and UTs where AFSPA is implemented.
