Dhubri-Phulbari bridge

Dhubri-Phulbari bridge is a 19-km long four lane bridge that is to be built across River Brahmaputra. It will connect Dhubri in Assam and Phulbari in Meghalaya. Upon completion, it will be the longest bridge in India. The estimated cost of this project is Rs.4,997 crore. It was approved in February 2019 and its work was awarded in November last year. It is expected to be completed by 2028.
