Ravi Shastri named as interim coach of Team India for Bangladesh tour
Former Indian Cricket Captain, Ravi Shastri was named interim coach of the Indian cricket team for the tour of Bangladesh starting from 10 June 2015 which will host one Test and three One-Day Internationals (ODIs).
He was appointed by Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) President Jagmohan Dalmiya. This appointment is stop-gap arrangement for the short tour as the BCCI is yet to decide on a full-time coach to replace Duncan Fletcher whose tenure had ended in March 2015.
