Lyricist-writer Gulzar will be honoured with the Tata Literature Live! Poet Laureate Award for 2016 for his contribution to Indian literature through his heart-rending poetry. The award carries a citation, plaque and cash prize and will be presented to him at Tata Literature Live!’s annual awards ceremony to be held on November 17, 2016 at the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA), Nariman Point, Mumbai.
