What is meant by Cryosphere?

The Portion of earth where water is present in frozen form is known as Cryosphere. The word Cryosphere is derived from Greek word Krios meaning cold. Cryosphere consists of Glaciers, ice sheets, snow, Permafrost, ice cap.
