What is hygroscopic water?
Generally Water absorbed from the atmosphere held up to a 0.0002 millimeters level of the surface of a soil particle which is known as hygroscopic water. As this water is held so tightly by the soil that it cannot be taken up by roots. This water is non-mobile and can be removed from the soil through heating only.
