What is Aleutian Low in Geography?

During the winter season, the mean sub-polar atmospheric low pressure area in the North Pacific Ocean is called Aleutian Low. It is not a very intense stationary ‘low’, but made up of an area of rapidly moving individual ‘lows’, interrupted due to the occasional anticyclones.
