Uttarakhand Launches Service Sankalp Campaign
The Uttarakhand Service Sankalp campaign will run across the state from 17 September to 17 October 2026. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami announced the month-long campaign on 11 September 2026, and its launch date of 17 September coincides with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
Campaign Objective and Framework
The campaign is linked with the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, a national goal associated with developed India by 2047. The programme uses service, public participation, dialogue, and innovation as its main themes. Eleven major programmes have been proposed to involve students, youth, women, beneficiaries, parents, public representatives, social organisations, and citizens.
Major Activities Under the Campaign
Several named activities form part of the campaign structure. “Ashirwad Ka Diya” will organise lamp-lighting events, “Mere Sapno Ka Bharat–Chitra Seva” will conduct competitions in educational institutions, “Namo Seva–Ankahi Kahaniyan” will stage school plays, and “Angan Milan Seva” will focus on activities at Anganwadi centres related to maternal and child health.
The “Seva: Mera Yogdan” programme will include tree plantation, cleanliness drives, and teaching activities. The campaign will also present beneficiary stories and local changes linked with Central and state government schemes.
District-Level Participation
The campaign will be organised in every district of Uttarakhand, and district in-charge ministers will participate in the implementation. Youth participation is included as a major component of the programme structure.
