What do you think about the proposed retaliatory tariffs which India will impose on 29 US products?

India is slated to impose a retaliatory tariff on 29 US products which can further spark the trade tensions between US and India. India has repeatedly postponed this decision on US goods which are worth $235 million. India has gracefully accepted the withdrawal of duty-free benefits to the Indian exporters and has said that it will make its exports more competitive. It has also accepted the US withdrawal of GSP for Indian exporters. Indian government has termed the action as unfortunate and has vowed to safeguard the interests of Indians without compromising on any situation. India has thus given a clear signal to the world that it is a new India which refuses to submit to unreasonable pressures.
