NASA announces its New Frontiers program
NASA has recently announced its New Frontiers program, called Dragonfly mission, to explore Saturn’s largest moon – Titan. It’s the only moon in our solar system that has an atmosphere. The rotorcraft will fly to dozens of promising locations on Titan looking for pre-biotic chemical processes common on both Titan and Earth. The mission will launch ..

NASA spotted lakes filled with Methane on Saturn’s moon Titan
NASA’s Cassini spacecraft has made an incredible observation about the extraordinary deep lakes filled with methane in the Saturn’s moon, Titan. Titan, Saturn’s largest moon has methane rain that can fill lakes as much as 330 feet deep. Titan has become only planetary body known to have stable liquid on its surface, apart from Earth.

Saturn’s Moon Titan: NASA Cassini Aircraft
The NASA Cassini Aircraft found that Saturn’s largest moon has small deep lakes filled with Methane. Cassini data measured Ontario Lacus the only major lake in Titan’s southern hemisphere. The lakes, rivers and seas mainly contain compounds of hydrogen and carbon which are the essential for the formation of petroleum and natural gas. Facts Related ..

Liquid methane spotted on Titan satellite in solar system
By using data obtained by NASA’s Cassini spacecraft, the researchers discovered deep lakes (more than 300 feet, or 100 meters) filled with methane on Saturn’s moon Titan. The team also found “phantom lakes” that fill and empty periodically. It must be noted that Titan is the only known body in our solar system other than ..
