The world’s highest and longest glass-bottomed bridge will open to visitors at Zhangjiajie in Hunan province, China. The 430 m long, 6 m wide bridge, concreted with 99 panes of three-layer transparent glasses and connects two mountain cliffs of Avatar Mountain and stands 300m above ground. A maximum of 8,000 visitors are allowed to cross the bridge every day and a reservation must be made one day prior to visiting. The bridge has set 10 world records for its design and construction.
