Telangana Electronic Vehicles and Energy Storage Policy, 2020-2030

Unveiled by the Telangana government last year, the Telangana Electronic Vehicle and Energy Storage Policy 2020-2030 seeks to make the state a hub for EVs and energy storage systems. Its objectives include incentivising EV adoption for boosting demand for battery storage solutions, create supporting infrastructure, among others. In line with this policy, the state government removed the road tax and registration fee for a certain number of EVs of several categories.
