SC seeks status of CBI probe into Mulayam and his sons

The Supreme Court on 25th March has issued a notice to the Central Bureau of Investigation on a plea to seek a direction to the agency to place its investigation report in the disproportionate assets case against Samajwadi Party patriarch Mulayam Singh Yadav and his sons, Akhilesh Yadav and Prateek Yadav. A bench comprising Chief Justice of India Ranjan Gogoi and Justice Deepak Gupta has asked the CBI to file its response within two weeks.
