The Central Board of Trustees (CBT) of the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) decided to raise the interest rate on the provident fund deposits marginally to 8.15 per cent for FY23.
The rate of interest was four-decade low of 8.1 per cent in the previous financial year. The interest rate would be officially notified in the government gazette after getting the approval from the Finance Ministry.

A Space System Design Lab has been inaugurated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat recently. It aims to promote growth and increase contribution of private sector space firms in India.
It is an initiative of the Indian National Space Promotion and Authorization Centre (IN-SPACe). The lab has computing resources comprising 16 workstations and high-performance computing multi-core servers.
