Mainpuri cultural centre, museum and auditorium complex is under construction

A cultural centre and museum, along with an auditorium and multipurpose hall, are under construction in Mainpuri, Uttar Pradesh. District Magistrate Indramani Tripathi inspected the work on Friday. The cultural centre and museum have a budget of ₹3,800.11 lakh; the auditorium and multipurpose hall are being built for ₹2,461.61 lakh.

Inspection and construction directions

Tripathi instructed the implementing agency’s engineers and contractors to maintain uniformity in construction and beautification across the complex and finish the project within its scheduled timeframe. He directed that quality should not be compromised and that design elements draw on Uttar Pradesh’s folk and classical dance forms.

His directions also covered consistent wall-panel designs, completing finishing work after ceiling and lighting work, and expediting sound-system wiring and base preparation. He asked officials to check water and fire-fighting pipelines, install two to three decorative light poles and maintain cleanliness across the premises.
