Gravitational waves Pioneer Ronald Drever passes away

Scottish physicist and gravitational waves pioneer Ronald Drever passed away. He was 85. He was one of the co-founders of the Laser Interferometer Gravitational wave Observatory (LIGO) detectors that had detected the gravitational waves emitted by merger of a binary black hole pair.
