Yoga University inaugurated in Gujarat
Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated a yoga university named Lakulish Yoga University in Ahmedabad.
It is a private university up by Life Mission Trust, which already runs several yoga training centres across the State as well as in Canada and Mauritius. The university will offer courses in yoga, Indian culture and Indology. It will offer three-year degree courses to students aged 15-35, besides short-term programmes for elderly people interested in yoga.
