Sunil Chhetri, PV Sindu to launch Fit India talks

On July 2, 2020, the flagship programme of Indian Government, Fit India announced that it is to launch Fit India Talks. It is an interactive session of top sports stars of India with school children.
The Fit India talks was jointly launched by Union Sports Minister Kiren Rijju, Indian Football team skipper Sunil Chhetri and badminton star PV Sindhu.
During Fit India talk sessions, the sports persons are to share their experiences of childhood, their inspiration, struggles and failures. This will keep school children motivated and work hard towards their goals, especially during the current COVID-19.
Sunil Chhetri is popularly known as Captain Fantastic. He is the current captain of Indian Football team. He was conferred with Arjuna Award by Government of India in 2011. In 2019, he received Padma Shri, the fourth highest civilian award of India.
PV Sindhu is an Indian Badminton player. He has won multiple medals including gold at 2019 World Championship. She was the first Indian to become an International Badminton Championship. At the age of 17, in 2012 she broke into top 20 of the BWF World Ranking.
