Football Legend “Sir Tom Finney”: Former Preston and England winger passed away
Former Preston and England winger, Sir Tom Finney (91) passed away. Mr. Finney was one of the England’s greatest footballers and the ultimate one-club man. He was famous for his loyalty to his league club, Preston North End for which he made 569 first-class appearances.

Played for Preston from 1946 until he retired.
Scored 210 goals in 473 appearances.
Footballer of the year: In 1954 and 1957 (the first player to receive the honor twice).
Appointment: Officer of the Order of the British Empire (OBE) (1961),
Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in 1992.
