The Union Road Transport and Highways ministry has launched a pilot project called Highway Advisory Services to give trafic updates to commuters on the 256-km Delhi-Jaipur National Highway-8. The objective of this radio channel project is to provide information to the highway commuters about travel tips, safety tips, traffic updates, including information on accidents and diversions.
