What are your views about the recently announced plans by India to establish a space station?

Indian Space Research Organization has surprised the world with its recent announcement stating that it will set up its own space station in next five years. This will be separate from the International Space Station which is orbiting the planet. The Indian Space Station will be positioned in low-earth orbit at a height of 400 km above the surface of the earth. An Indian Space Station is essential for India to proceed with its manned missions and establish its mark in the history of space research. India cannot afford to delay as it will give way to other countries to take the lead. The risks are really high but the level of space missions has proved the strength of India.
