Mount Kilimanjaro

Mount Kilimanjaro, located in Tanzania, is the highest peak in Africa. With height of 5,895 metres, it the highest single free-standing mountain in the world. This large dormant stratovolcano consists of three volcanic cones – Kibo, Mawenzi and Shira. Recently, a nine-year old from Andhra Pradesh became the youngest girl in Asia to climb this mountain. She is now the second youngest girl in the world to achieve this feat.
