Raghuram Rajan to be new CEA
Raghuram Rajan will take the place of Kaushik basu as the Chief Economic Adviser.
- The selection was made by Prime Minister’s Economic advisory council headed by C.Rangarajan.
- Mr. Rajan has been former Chief Economist of International Monetary Fund.
- Currently Rajan is the Eric J Gleacher Distinguished Service Professor of Finance at the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business.
