SJVN Limited has executed several hydroelectric power projects in India, including the 1,500 MW Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station in Himachal Pradesh, the 412 MW Rampur Hydro Power Station in Himachal Pradesh, and the 47.6 MW Khirvire Wind Power Project in Maharashtra. The Nathpa Jhakri Hydro Power Station is one of the largest hydroelectric power plants in India and has been operational since 2004. The project has an installed capacity of 1,500 MW and generates over 6,000 million units of electricity annually. The Rampur Hydro Power Station, commissioned in 2014, has an installed capacity of 412 MW and generates over 1,700 million units of electricity annually.

Contribution to India’s Energy Security

SJVN Limited has been instrumental in enhancing India’s energy security by generating clean and sustainable energy through its hydroelectric power projects.
