Notes:
The old name of Anegundi was Kishkindha. It is a fortified village in the Gangavathi taluk, Koppal district of Karnataka. It is older than Hampi. Huchappayana matha temple, Pampa Sarovar, Aramane, Kamal Mahal, and Nava Brindavana are the major attractions of this place.
It is part of the world Heritage Site, Hampi, being developed into a world class tourism spot by engaging the locals to sensitise them to their cultural wealth and provide them a means of livelihood. Existing tanks in the village have been redesigned to store clean drinking water and proper drainage facilities developed to keep the surroundings clean and hygienic. The Kishkinda Trust is working on tourism development in Anegundi.

Notes:
Malpe is a natural port and is located in the Udupi District of the state of Karnataka. Malpe port is located at the mouth of the Malpe River which is about six kilometres to the west of Udupi. It is a major fishing harbour and an important port situated on the Karnataka coast. Settlements of the Mogaveera fisherman community is found in the Malpe town.

The Mysore Plateau is also known as the South Karnataka Plateau. It is a plateau that is one of the four geographically unique regions of Karnataka. It is bounded on the west and the south by the Western Ghats. Most of the river Kaveri flows through the Mysore Plateau in Karnataka.

Karnataka’s Revenue expenditure for the year 2021-22 is proposed to be Rs 1,87,405 crore. This amount is an annual increase of 4% over the year 2019-20.  This expenditure includes the payment of pensions, salaries, and interest.

Karnataka Vikas Grameena Bank (KVGB) launched ‘Kirishi OD(Overdraft) scheme’ for farmers.
Under the scheme, the farmers can get a maximum amount of Rs 1.5 lakh per acre for irrigated lands and Rs 1 lakh per acre for dry land.

At present, the contribution of IT sector to the GSDP is 25 per cent and in this Bengaluru alone accounts for nearly 98 per cent. Keeping this in view and to increase the contribution of other regions, the ‘Beyond Bengaluru’ project has been initiated.
The office of the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) has the objective of increasing digital economy contribution to Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP) to 30 per cent.
The KDEM aims to attract investments for the IT/ITeS sector in the state and to create 10 lakh jobs by 2025. It works to achieve the target by focusing on 5 verticals of IT products and services, Innovation and Startups, Electronic System Design and Manufacturing (ESDM), ‘Beyond Bengaluru’, and ‘Talent Accelerator’.
