Notes: Iwaz Khalji assumed the power in 1208, he ruled for  two years until being dethroned by Ali Mardan in 1210. After Ali Mardan's death in 1212, Iwaz once again took over the power and established his independent rule in Lakhnauti. In 1225 AD, Illtutmish took over Bihar Sharif and Barh and later on moved to Lakhnauti. Iwaz army bravely faced Illtutmish army near Teliagarhi near Rajmahal Hills but  had to surrender. Illtutmish, then appointed Malik Allaludin Jani as his representative in Bihar.
