IRDA Recruitment 2018 for Various Posts

Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI), a statutory body formed under an Act of the Parliament has invited applications for the recruitment on various posts. The candidates must have the experience of working with Insurers/Financial sector regulators/PSU Banks for filling up the posts in the Grades of Manager, Assistant General Manager, Deputy General Manager and General Manager through an open competition on all India basis.  Total number of vacant posts  is 18. The candidates must submit their applications on the prescribed application form in the manner as stated in the notification by 12th March 2018. The upper age limit for various posts is given below with relaxation applicable for different categories. There will be a written examination conducted for these posts for the selection.   • Manager – 07 posts
  • Assistant General Manager – 08 posts
  • Deputy General Manager – 02 posts
  • General Manager – 01 posts

Educational Qualification

  • Manager – Life/Non-Life/ F&A/Invts: A Graduation degree with minimum-60% marks. IT: B.E./B.Tech (IT/CS) – 60% or MCA/Masters in IT/CS with 60% marks in graduation. Experience: Minimum 10 years of working experience
  • Assistant General Manager – A Graduation degree. Experience: Minimum 15 years of working experience
  • Deputy General Manager – A Graduation degree. Experience: Minimum 20 years of working experience
  • General Manager – A Graduation degree. Experience: Minimum 20 years of working experience

Age Limit:

  • Manager – Maximum age limit is 45 years
  • Assistant General Manager – Maximum age limit is 50 years
  • Deputy General Manager – Maximum age limit is 54 years
  • General Manager – Maximum age limit is 54 years
