Essential Qualification

| 1 | Project Assistant | M.Tech/M.Sc. degree in Remote Sensing/Geo-informatics/GIS/Spatial Information Technology Or Master degree in Geography with PG Diploma in RS & GIS from a recognized University/ Institute. |
| 2 | Research Associate (R.A.-I) | Doctorate or equivalent degree in Geoinformatics. Or 3 years experience in remote sensing after 1 st class M.Tech. in Geo-informatics. At least one research paper published in a peer reviewed journal. |
| 3 | Project Fellow | B.Tech/M.Tech./M.Sc in Geo informatics with one year experience in relevant field. Or Bachelors/Master in any stream with one year diploma in Remote Sensing and GIS with 50% marks from recognized university with one year post qualification experience in the relevant field. Or B.Tech./MCA/M.Sc. with 50% marks and Diploma in RS & GIS from recognized university with one year post qualification experience in the relevant field |
| 4 | Research Associate | First Class M.Tech in Geoinformatics/Remote Sensing/Geo-spatial Technology with minimum three years research experience in remote sensing/ GIS applications in Web GIS. Note: At least one research paper published in peer reviewed journal. Or Ph.D. in Geo-informatics/Remote Sensing/ Geospatial Technology. |

| 6 | Research Associate (RA-III) | Ph.D in Remote Sensing & GIS (utilizing Optical Remote Sensing)/Geo-Informatics, Geography, Geo-Sciences, Environmental Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Agronomy, Meteorology with use of Geo-spatial techniques in Ph.D. research work. or 1 st Class Master’s degree in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geo informatics/ Agronomy/ Meteorology /Environmental Sciences/ Geography/ Computer Science from recognized University with minimum 3-year Research experience relevant to Optical Data Remote Sensing & Image Classification. and At least One research Paper published in Peer Reviewed Journal. |
| 7 | Research Associate (RA-III) | Ph.D. in Remote Sensing & GIS (utilizing Microwave Remote Sensing)/ Geo-Informatics, Geography, Geo-Sciences, Environmental Science, Computer Science & Engineering, Agronomy, Meteorology with use of Geo-spatial techniques in Ph.D. research work. or 1 st Glass Master’s degree in Remote Sensing/ GIS/ Geoinformatics/ Agronomy/ Meteorology /Environmental Sciences/Geography/ Computer Science from recognized University with minimum 3-year Research experience relevant to Microwave Data Remote Sensing & Image Classification. and At least One research Paper published in Peer Reviewed Journal. |
