What is Sticky wicket in cricket?

In Cricket terminology the word Sticky wicket is related to pitch of the ground. A cricket pitch on which the ball bounces unpredictably is known as sticky wicket. Generally sticky wicket is seen when pitch is wet . If rainfall occurs then pitch becomes wet and ball may not bounce predictably due to wet condition of the pitch.

In modern Cricket it is difficult to find Sticky wicket as almost all the grounds have covers to protect pitch during rain.
