What is Channel Management?
Channel Management is a strategy of marketing which the companies use to reach the maximum number of audience and increase their customer base. It helps the firms to stay focused on one particular channel by servicing and selling to customers in that channel with the primary aim to streamline communication with the customers. Thus, one needs to carefully tailor one’s channel as per the needs, buying behaviours; success factors etc. of the customers and finally design a program which involves goals, policies, products, sales etc. The company strives to achieve direct communication with the customers via channels. Each channel could have a particular strategy but on the whole, the company has to aim towards branding the business consistently in all communications.
