Jharkhand Government bans sale of thermocol plates

Jharkhand Government has imposed a ban on the sale of thermocol plates in the state. It was announced by Chief Minister Raghuvar Das.
By banning thermocol plates, the state government aims at

• Promoting of leaf plates in the state
• Generate employment for the poor and tribals who are engaged in making leaf plates.

Apart from this decision, Chief Minister also announced Rs 1 lakh to villages in states which become liquor-free.
