INS Kozhikode decommissioned after 3 decades of service
Indian Naval Ship Kozhikode was decommissioned in a ceremony held at Naval Jetty, Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh. Vice Admiral S.N. Ghormade, Chief of Staff, Eastern Naval Command, was the chief guest on the occasion. INS Kozhikode gracefully retired as an operational ship after 3 decades of service in the Indian Navy. As part of the decommissioning ceremony, a ‘Barakhana’ for retired and serving sailors and their families was held.
