Gyan Correa bagged the Gollapudi Srinivas National Award 2013

The debutant director of Gujarati movie “The Good Road”, Mr. Gyan Correa has been selected for the 17th Gollapudi Srinivas National Award 2013. The award would be presented to the winners on August 12, 2014 in Chennai.
Gollapudi Srinivas National Award

  • Instituted in memory of late Gollapudi Srinivasa, who died while directing his first film Prema Pustakam (Book of Love) on August 12, 1992.
  • Cash Prize: Rs.1.50 lakh and a memento.

Note: Gujarati movie “The Good Road”is the first ever Gujarati film selected to represent India at the Oscars and also won the Best Gujarati film award at the 60th National Film Award.
