FKCCI completed 100 years of service

The Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) successfully completed its hundred years of service on 27 July 2015. The hundredth year celebration was inaugurated by Pranab Mukherjee, the President of India, in the presence of many dignitaries from commerce and political background.
On the eve of this occasion special activities were conducted like; Conferences on banking, finance and for Business Women, and also seminar on Agricultural Produce and Marketing and Food Processing. It also conducted awareness campaign on “Make in India” programme and many other events.
Annual events will be carried out on this occasion like – International Women’s Day, MANTHAN 2016, Export Excellence Award 2016, Members Day Celebration, FKCCI Innovation Excellence Award 2016 to encourage business community and to attract investments in Karnataka.

About FKCCI:

The Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce & Industry (FKCCI) was initiated on 8 May 1916 by Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya with support of then ruler of Mysore State Nalwadi Krishnaraja Wodeyars to industrialise the State.
The thought behind its formation was to provide a platform for business community in the state and to continuously interact and work in accordance with Centre/State Government in resolving various problems arising in the business and economic spheres of the State.
