Asia Cup 2020 cancelled
On July 8, 2020, the BCCI President Saurav Ganguly announced that the Asia Cup T20 was cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic.

Following the cancellation, the next Asia Cup is to be held in Sri Lanka. And Asia Cup 2022 is to be held in Pakistan. The Asian Cricket Council has chosen Sri Lanka to conduct the matches in 2021 as it is one of the least affected in the South Asian region.
Also, the T20 world Cup is also unlikely to go ahead in Australia due to COVID-19.
Asia Cup
The Asia Cup is a men’s one day international tournament. It was established in 1983 after Asian Cricket Council was founded.
The Asian Cricket Council is a subordinate to International Cricket Council. There are 24 member associations associated with the Asian Cricket Council. The headquarters of Asian Cricket Council is located in Colombo, Sri Lanka.
