2018 International Migrants Day (IMD)
The International Migrants Day (IMD) is observed every year on 18th of December to protect the rights of migrant workers and members of their families. On this day, in 1990, The United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) adopted a resolution on the International Convention on the Protection of the Rights of All Migrant Workers and Members of their Families. The 2018 theme “Migration with Dignity” recognizes that treating every migrant with dignity is one of the fundamental requirements we face before anything else we attempt on migration.
