Educational Qualification
Scientist:
PhD thesis submitted in Life Sciences (Microbiology / Physiology / Biotechnology / Zoology / Biochemistry).
OR
PhD thesis submitted in Life Sciences (Mircobiology/ Physiology / Biotechnology / Zoology / Biochemistry).
Senior Scientist:
PhD in Chemical Sciences or Pharmaceutical Sciences with minimum 2 years of postdoctoral experience in the relevant field.
OR
PhD in Life Sciences (Microbiology / Physiology / Biotechnology / Zoology / Biochemistry) with minimum of 2 years of postdoctoral experience in the relevant field.
OR
PhD in Life Sciences (Microbiology / Physiology / Biotechnology / Zoology / Biochemistry) with minimum of 2 years postdoctoral experience in the relevant field.
OR
PhD in Science with a minimum of 2 years postdoctoral research experience in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.
Principal Scientist:
PhD in Science with minimum 3 years postdoctoral research experience in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.
Selection Process
Following methods would be adopted to shortlist candidates to be called for interview:
- Screening on the basis of higher educational qualifications.
- Screening on the basis of higher experience in the relevant field.
- By conducting a written test.
- Any other methodology deemed fit.
Age
Upper Age Limit:
Scientist: 32 years
Senior Scientist: 37 years
Principal Scientist: 45 years
Application Fee
A fee of RS 100 needs to be deposited in the form of crossed Demand Draft with a minimum validity of 03 months in favour of the Director, CSIR-Indian Institute of Chemical Biology, payable at Kolkata.
SC/ST/Women/PWD Category and regular employees of CSIR are exempted from paying the fee.
